To tune or not to tune?

I can't decide if i want to tune my 07 335i. It's already blazing fast and I can smoke most anything else out there (other then newer, more expensive M models like the M6 or the B7 Alpina(not an M i know))

But I know it could be faster, but I dont want to risk the warranty issue.

I am looking at the Active Autowerke programer. Or what about Dinan?

Any thoughts?

You can get the SSTT. You can hook it and Unhook it in seconds.

I love them.

Not wrong side of La Paz, there's just far too many topics and not enough searching going on. If it were a specific or new question, I'd help answer.

if you are that concerned with the warrenty then i wouldnt do anything that would void it. that could be a mistake.

get the jbs2, really wakes the car up and is simple to install and remove, plus it's under 400 bucks.

Yeah my car is leased , and I am getting JBS2 ! You should be the one deciding whether u want to spend the money to mod the car. if the force to mod outweighs the force of leaving it stock then you wont be debating to mod or not

I'm going for Split Second Turbo Tuner. It seems to be a good mix between an extra boost but not so much as to really put too much pressure on the car.

i agree, the turbo tuner is a mild tune, and doesnt involve playing with the ecu wires. a easy 1 minute install and uninstall and cant be detected.

I would first see if your dealer is a one that likes mods and does them to their own cars first.

My dealer will still warranty cars under the Procede and AA Xede

my car is a buy. what about dinan? is it a waste of money? the SSTT just plugs right into the car, no wire cutting or anything right? because if so, then that works.

and ya, dont be obnoxious OC. its my first time to start a thread. i just got the car and just found out about this site. thanks for being so nice.

yes the SSTT is just a plug and play unit. the only one on the market that u dont have to play with all those wires in your ECU.

btw they give u a 7 day refund policy, try it and if u dont like it return it for a full refund.
