What about considering a trip to a BMW by the border. The US dealers are allowed to see you a pre-owned vehicle and with the currency exchange it may be totally worth the trip and hassle. Or look into an auto broker to do the transaction. Totally sucks that for the price I paid for my E92 I coulda get an E93 in the US and have some change to spare.

They're giving you BS or they are just ignorant re. the used cars. There is nothing to stop them selling used cars to Canadians. They're right about the new vehicles though.
