CDN prices

anyone know the pricing for the 08 335 coupe, why are they waiting so long to announce the price, the US has pricing. I'm getting alittle ticked off we get gouged as it is, the price infact should drop here based on the US pricing. The whole industry should be investigated for price fixing as CDN luxury cars should not command such a premiuim over US verions. This applies to US built cars as well , perhaps it is time this becomes a NAFTA issue.

A NAFTA issue? Since when were 3 series built in the States? Do you think BMW Canada buys their cars from the US? The Canadian $ has done well against the US $, but the question is, how has it done against the Euro?

www.xe.com

1.00 EUR = 1.43349 CAD

1.00 EUR = 1.36113 USD

1.00 USD = 1.05316 CAD

pretty much even.

I know that but why does an X5 or corvette cost soo much more in Canada, that was my point. The price gouging could be started with NA build cars, make these guys explaiin why we pay so much more, and they void warranties, servicr etc if we import one ourselves...the reason is simple they know they can screw us, where the level playing field.

Price change over 2007 probably won't be much, if anything.

I know that comfort access is now standard on E93, dunno about E90/E92. Maybe they'll throw in 6FL as well, and keep prices the same?

I know they are building '08 cars for canada as i type this, so somewhere out there someone knows the pricing.

would a dealer actually make us consumers pay the difference if there was a price hike? it was never mentioned to me, is it written in the bill of sale somewhere? should i call them and ask them?

I was told by a sales guy that the change to the base price will be no more than $1000.

Surely someone -- anyone? -- must know Canadian prices of the 2008 335i by now.
I'm expecting delivery next month and, like many of us, would like to know the final amount and if I am going to exercise my out. All I get is stonewalling by BMW people.
