can't decide. 2007 or 2008?

I found a 2007 335i with the options I want in sparking graphite (prefer the Alpine white) from out of town (300km away)and my local dealer is willing to match the price and bring in the car here for me. My question is should I wait and get the 2008 so I can get murder from the higher interest rate? IS it a bad idea to buy a current year vehicle late in the year in terms of depreciation? like buy the 2007 in September or later. Currently, the finance rate is at 4.9 % for the 07 and no one know what the rate would be for the 2008.

Thanks

take the 2007 deal - there is zero difference with the 08 other than the model year.

If you lease I would go 2007, if you buy go for 2008 for resale value

2007 has a limited color selection now
2008 might be able to get a discount when order from the dealer.

Obviously 2008 will have higher resale, it will also have a higher interest rate.
It's a no win/loose situation. All depends whether you want the car right away or you willing to wait and get exactly what you want for slightly higher monthly payment.

My 2007 rolled in at the dealer at the end of August last year so i bet you are going to see the 2008's within the next month so i would wait if you are buying.

I went to the dealer last night and he couldn't find the color and options I want from the remaining 07. I think I will wait for the 08. Anyone know when they will have the finance rate for 2008?
