E91 335i Facelift

Hi All,

Few of you would know that I advertised my car couple of months ago but was advised to put it back in standard form for mass audience even though it just had 19" black alloys and black kidney grilles but due to shortage of time and busy schedule I couldn't put it up for sale again.

Its on a 58 plate (2008) Le mans blue with Oyster/black dakota leather. The car has one previous owner.

Apart from the standard stuff it has these optional extras.

Media package Professional which includes,
-Professional HDD Nav
-Voice control
-Bluetooth prep + telematic
-Usb audio interface

DAB digital radio.
Visibility package(adaptive xenon headlights, high beam assist etc).
Business audio.
Extended storage.
Rear and side window blinds.
Electric front seats plus drivers memory.
Park distance control front and rear.
Ext mirror folding auto dimming.
Sun protection glass.

The current mileage is just short of 43k and the car has full BMW service history with nothing required for next 10k miles. The wheels are kerb free with Bridgestone runflats all round with front having around 4-5mm and rears with 7mm tread. The over all conditon is superb. I am looking for £17500 which I think is the cheapest facelift 335i tourer in the country.

The car is mot'd and taxed till March 2012 and has AUC warranty till March as well.

So here it is in its current and standard form,

If I wanted a touring, the options and colour of this one would make me jump in a second.

I'm sure if you get that on PH, AT and gumtree now it'll sell very quickly.

GLWS.

I literally have no idea why this hasn't sold. Just stick with the price - it's worth every penny of it.

Would have thought you would get more than that in a trade in unless you are just looking for a straight sale but good luck anyway

I'll tell you why...

...no bugger is buying cars at present, especially large petrol engined ones .

The OP has done all that he can do in pricing his car as the cheapest in the UK so now it's just a waiting game.

Everyone is having difficulty in selling cars, even smaller diesels, it's just that state of everyones minds at present with all the financial crap going on all around.

I wish the OP every success - your car is fantastic (and the right gearbox too which is rare) - I'd love it myself but think it would be even harder to sell a two-seater large petrol engined roadster .

I follow the prices on 350z-uk with interest.

You are going to get torn a new asshole if you try and sell the 370z within the next year.

Better at least waiting it out, enjoying your motoring and allowing the curve to level off again.

Apparently it's because there was an influx of 2010 stock which was not shifted before new plates so was then sold for massive discounts.. 25-26k brand new etc, but pre-registered to the dealer.

The only up side is they've all gone at last so the second year depreciation should be nowhere near as bad.

This is very very off topic. Sorry to seller. Free bump I guess.

You're absolutely spot on mate, I've recently seen a new Roadster for £28k , no chance I'm selling luckily at this time of year.

Free bump .

Gah, if this was a derv, I'd have bitten your arms off! Lovely motor and awesome spec!

Mind you, if it was a derv it'd have sold already and probably for a much higher price!

I was just about to message you to make you an offer, but it's a manual.
Such a shame, if it were for me I would still have it, but Fiona wants and auto.

Not sure if I would be able to get a good trade in for my car and if I do the cars I was looking at are gone up in value due to change in weather.

Anyway have you still got yours ? PM me if you have sold it.

28k. Try 25k.

Temptation is high, but then again I know in 6 months I can buy yours for about 14k

Update

Yesterday I got offered £14800 by a trader through my cars advert in Auto trader which if I push might get it upto £15000 but still thats not I am looking for.

Another member on here part exchanged his car which was 99% similar to mine to Halliwell Jones in Southport and they put it up for £20995 and its not on their website anymore so probably been sold not sure how much though but cant be under 19k mark.

Is my asking price too high ? I am still open to offer.

Opinions and suggestions welcome.

Just need to be patient im afraid.

I've noticed the same with my 335i SE advert.

Only £10,500 on a 56 plate coupe, sat nav, cream leathers etc.

Just need to play the waiting game I feel.

15000 for that car is far too cheap IMO, if you are in no rush to sell stick at it and you will get your asking price

The 335i seems to be getting hit rather hard of late with used values, but the 335i tourer is a rare and IMO the most desireable bodystyle available

What this man said.
Hold tight and wait for the right buyer.

possibly wait until the new year if you can, as not many people will be buying over xmas

Just wrong timing for me, i have a e90 325 which ive now clocked up 140k.

Plan is to sell and get a 335i, unfortunatly i have to sell a range rover sport to make way for her evoque first. Then a 335i will be mine in the new year

This.

That really is the perfect E91. All of the best options, good mileage, lovely cream interior, facelift, HDD iDrive and it's an Efficient Dynamics model.
