Transmission Fluid..
Hey everyone, yes i know another dumb transmission post.
i did search, but nothing that fits my specific needs, i picked up the car two months ago and am wondering if i should get the transmission pan/fluid/gasket and all that good stuff changed out. im at 85 000k KM's. im kind of on the border line of what people say to change it by or dont change it all so im looking to get some advice. what would you do? 2006 BMW 330i. i have no problem going to the dealer to get this done properly, and infact i would like to change it, just wanted some insight, anyone with a similar story? thanks! |

I changed my fluids my self at about 100k km, i have a manual tranny so was just a train and fill. For you you got the pan to replace. If you're able to turn a wrench give it a shot yourself, pretty straight foward

Mine isn't after the change, but I have heard that warning about the new fluid and it slipping. Haven't heard of any true stories of it yet, so it must be a verrrryyy slim occasion.
