Tire/Wheel Issue pre and post 9/10 F10 builds

Does anyone know what issue for all F10 is regarding wheels and tires for cars built before and after 9/10?

Tirerack ask you on line if your care was built before or after beginning of 9/10 and BMW offers different winter tire packages for before and after beginning 9/10 production.

To my knowledge, it is the change in TPMS senders (and/or receiver). So, if you want to replace a wheel(s) and carry over the benefit of the TPMS you'll need to make sure the new wheels have compatible senders so they can still communicate back to the car's 'brain'. There may be other issues like offset, etc that I'm not aware of at this time.
