Steering wheel swap--auto with paddles into manual--doable?

Guys,
I have a chance to swap steering wheels from an M-sport e93 with paddle shifters into my non zsp e90 manual. This would be just swapping the whole kit and caboodle. Is it doable to just remove the paddles from the m-sport wheel? Obviously there will be cutouts, but I feel that is a small price to pay for the nicer wheel. I am not worried about hooking the paddles back up in the e93.... I guess I could also sell the wheel with cutouts and buy one without....Regardless, can this functionally be done?

Yes its possible, but there will be a hole in the back. Let us know the outcome if you actually go through with it...
