Thumbs up WeatherTech Floor/Cargo Liners

I just received my WeatherTech Floor/Cargo Liner set for my 328ix from AutoAnything and I'm here to tell you that these ARE the Rolls Royce of winter mats

They stated that they are laser designed to fit the car perfectly - and they do just that. These are way far and above higher quality than the BMW winter mats available. I like the fact that they wrap up the sides/front/rear to completely protect the carpeting.

I originally was gonna just get the fronts as I rarely have passengers, but cost to get entire front/rear set + cargo liner was too good to pass up.

Price was $287 - some may say that's too much $$ but if you have a $42K+ car, plan on keeping it for years, and live in an area with crappy winters - you'll be glad you did when it saves your interior from being trashed.

They come with their own carpet attachment thingy's and best of all are completely made in USA

Here ya go! Hard to get the right lighting but my car interior is Black and so are the mats. Edges of Cargo mat are not yet completely flattened out as it comes rolled in a box.

Ooh, I like the lip around the mats. That's why they cost so much!

Yeah, that's why I liked em also - can put a lot of slop in there and still not get any on carpet

Best part is, cheapest place I found them was at AutoAnything with free shipping (and if you do find them cheaper elsewhere they will match the price).

They allow you to use Bill Me Later with '6 months same as zer0% financing' I don't usually like to use credit, but with this deal as long as you pay it off within 6 months you pay no interest - so why not?

Glad I live in Florida! Smooth roads and NO SNOW! Regular mats work just fine down here. Used to live in the Frozen Tundra and know what a mess snow and ice can make of the interior without good protection.

BTW, these come in tan and gray also. You can buy just the front set, just the rear set, just the cargo liner, just the front & rear set. or the front/rear/cargo liner set depending on how much you want to spend or protect.

As a heads up, AutoAnything is offering several differnet levels of percent off depending on how much you spend - but none of the deals or any of their coupon codes work for the WeatherTech Mats

They explained to me this is due to the fact that they are already selling the mats at the lowest price that WeatherTech allows...

Just bought a set of Weather-Tech DigiFit Liners as well.

Couple of comments:

Price related
1. Cost for the 335i Sedan is $169.90 (2 front + 2 rear)
2. Total with Shipping (they give you shipping off the rear liners if you buy the entire set of 4) will cost you approx. $20 to $30 depending on where you live in the US
3. All in: your cost should be approx. $190 to $200. Not sure why AutoAnything is charging a premium of $80 compared to the original supplier???

My second and more important question is as follows:
The Weathertech liners (07' 335i sedan) for the driver side dont seem to line up with the factory hook. It clearly states on the box they are for the E90 2006+ Sedan (non-xi). They fit perfectly except the holes are misaligned on the liners. They did supply me with the hooks, but the holes in the liners dont match the hooks on the floor? You can only put it through one hook not both in the front. Bizarre.

Two months ago, I bought 2 fronts for e90 and e46 from Bavauto.
The total was $205.xx with free shipping.

Set of Front/Rear Liners are $169.90 from Weathertech directly with $18 shipping - Total $187.90

Set of Front/Rear Liners are $187.90 from Autoanything with FREE shipping - Total $187.90

The cost is exactly the same if you are buying front set or front/rear set because Weathertech sets the minimum price that their vendors are allowed to sell their products for.

Now if you buy the Front/Rear Set + the Cargo Liner as I did:

Weathertech - $279.85 + $18 Shipping = $297.85

Autoanything - $287 with FREE shipping = $287.00

You get a $10 discount if you buy the entire set, since I wanted the entire set it was cheaper to go with Autoanything

My apologies 1QuikWS6. I did not realize your stated price included the Cargo Liner as well. Thanks for clarifying.

Question 4 u: do your front liner holes line up with the hook placements on the floor? Mine don't for some reason. Well at least not both of them, can only fit in one hole.

From the pix you have posted, I think they do. Wondering why my mats dont have the precise cut-outs?

No problem - I figured you just missed the fact that I got the cargo liner too.

I haven't actually installed the hook fasteners yet - as I just layed the mats in for the pics.

But my factory mats came with velcro fasteners that screw into the carpet anywhere you want to line up with velcro on mats.

The WT mats came with their own hook fasteners that also screw into the carpet anywhere you want. So I'll just remove the factory velcro holdowns, line up the WT hook holdowns where they need to go and screw them into the carpet - that way both hooks will line up.

Did you not get a new set of hook holdowns with your WT mats? They should look like this:

Fantastic news :P

I did get the hook hold downs but for some reason did not grasp the fact that the holes can be made in the carpet anywhere as opposed to the exact position of the Velcro fasteners that the car originally came with.

Thanks again! Much appreciated

The one thing I don't like about them is that they end up being a big bowl of water if it is sloppy out and you get in and out of the car a lot - they need to make the groves closer together and deeper like the BMW rubber mats as it takes very little melted snow on them to get the bottom of your pants wet as the groves are not deep enough to keep the water away from your pant bottoms.

They do look great in your car - the last set I had did not fit well in a Toyota I had and a lot of people complained of the same thing online, eventually they redid their mold and fixed them up.

In general I'm happy with my mats but there's one really disappointing area. To the right of the gas pedal the mat does not rise above floor level. That means that if you park on an angle (front down or tilted on the passenger side) then all of the water in the mat runs down to that corner and over the edge.

i went with the dealership's version of these. they use the velcro to attach to the bottom. they are pretty much the same exact thing just with an xdrive badge instead of weathertech only cheaper. yup.. i said it.. cheaper at the dealer

http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

$92 for the front, $76 for the rear, $59 for the trunk liner = $227
