Alpine related question

I just wonder: would it be possible (depending on the Alpine specs, of course) to power up the bass speakers on 2 channels and the front & back speakers on the remaining 2 channels?
I mean it shouldn't be that difficult to connect front & rear before connecting to the amp and leave 2 channels purely for driving the bass

I think you are asking if you can run a 4-channel Alpine AMPLIFIER to 2 pair of speakers on one half, and the woofers on the other half.

No reason you can't do that, EXCEPT that depending on the amp, the amp puts out more power into lower impedances -- and depending on your system, paralleling your F and R speakers may create a 1 ohm load - unsafely low.

On top of that, paralleling your F and R speakers means that you can't control which set is louder and which is softer. Ruins your front stage effect,as you lose fader capability.

Better off to connect fronts to the amp and woofers to the amp and leave rears disconnected or to factory power.

Yeah, I was hoping to recreate the present situation (HU powering all the speakers on a basic 6 speaker system) but using the Alpine amplifier instead of the HU - I don't like the latency between the front/subs and rear speakers ...Beasides, many users have used the Blaupunkt 4 channels as a full replacement for the HU amplifier.
