The Giulia Quad is such a beautiful car and still lust after one. I nearly bought a Verde Montreal with CF buckets but ended up with the 2nd G80 M3 (xdrive) which I love but I still have the desire to get a Quad. The driving experience is pound for pound one of the best out there even if it is a step or two behind a G80 M3 these days it makes up for it with pure driving fun.

One of the most objective and honest comparison of both.
Only a small error in the video - Giulia had torque vectoring diff before, not electronically controlled LSD, now it has mechanical LSD. |

Yeah, I also wanted one back in 2016 but they were just so slow and releasing it and then end up driving one and I just couldn’t deal with the infotainment system either(no CarPlay)
Happy with the ///M no ragrets

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…
You’re going to need two Alfa Romeo’s One to drive while the other is in service

I wanted a Quad when they first came out, but was disappointed they didn’t come with the manual. Test drove and got pretty close but ended up going what the F80. Still a great car, but it looks pretty dated inside.

Very nice comparison here. Despite the huge kidney grills, the M division really did their hw on this car & it's no wonder it continue to impress people who... really know how to drive a car well, know what an excellent performer feels like & are articulate enough to clearly convey all this.

This information is simply not correct. Alfa have actually been a very reliable brand. The Quads especially. In the research I did, most of the people who owned Alfas, and Quads, were also owners of Porsche, Ferrari, Ms, RS', AMGs, and most of them said they were as reliable or more so than any of the other brands. I also saw many owners with 50-100K miles on Giulias that have been out in EU for some time say the same. The people I know who have owned Quads in the US have had no problems, especially after 2018. On top of that, they have held their value quite well.

I still have the key to one we sold at auction that a customer traded into us because he was on his 3rd engine. Wanted back into a P-car to autocross. |

I agree, similar experiences myself with close friends who have been left stranded by their 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder QV Giulias. Especially since Afla's dealership network is basically gone in Los Angeles now, definitely will not be considering buying one.

Either way, I still lust after what is a beautiful car with a phenomenal engine and great driving dynamics. All that being said, I am more than happy with my second G80. |

My 2.0 has been very reliable, but QVs def seem like playing with fire. Amazing car to drive, I fell in love with any one I've taken for a spin...shame it's being discontinued. I'm considering an M2 or M3 next for that reason.

I mean, If we're talking residuals, you can pick a QV up for low 30s, probably high 20s, which is what they were traded in as, these were $70K-$85K cats new. If you really want one, just buy a used for for a few years or until the next big repair.

I was getting emails for (still new) left over ‘23 Stelvio Quads for almost $20K off from my local dealer… I mean, that’s basically the first 1.5 years of depreciation right there…. It was soooo tempting. But I just can’t do it.
