Sirius XM 360L on 2024 X5 M60i

Is there Sirius XM 360L on the 2024 X5 M60i? I am thinking about ordering one but the sirius website is vague if it has it or not. I listen to the online channels in my 2022 Jeep, that is why I am asking.

Thanks!

I'm by no means a Sirius XM expert, so take my comments for what they're worth... Our 2024 X5M should have the same Sirius hardware as the M60i. We get all of what I consider the "regular" SXM channels - up through 320 or so. That's what I was used to on our prior Audi Q7 and our M2. In addition to that, we get what must be streaming channels running from the 400s up to nearly 800. Those always start at the beginning of a song/program, so there's some degree of on-demand in action that wouldn't come from a traditional broadcast signal.

Yes Sirius XM 360L is supported onthe X5 LCI. You get the additional channels of junk and the ability to select a artist and then play a "channel" by that artist powered by Pandora (since they acquired it some years back)

Speaking of SiriusXM 360L, is there a setting so that is is just like live radio without the memory buffer? Every time I lose signal, i.e. pulling into garage or switching stations, it starts the song it was on over again, and it is annoying IMO. I just want it to play live radio and that is it.

Well kind of. First like you say, its super annoying. I would rather have no sound and then go back to live signal rather than have this "smart buffer" that just rewinds it back and replays what you just heard ....

What i've done is created a shortcut for "forwards" or whatever its called that moves you forwards if you are listening to the buffer. Its one of the options on the right hand inside the SiriusXM menu. Then when i come out of the tunnel, i just use the shortcut to get back to live. The issue is, i normally have to click on it twice to really get back to "live"

Another way to do it is to change channel and then go back to the channel you were listening too. That should get you back to the live signal.
