G80 accessory & parts store in Tokyo?

I'm heading to Tokyo in Dec and looking for advice on where to find accessories or parts for my G80. I know about Upgarage and Autobacs but what i've seen online looks like they're more for japanese cars which is expected.

Any input or advice on where I can go that specializes more for BMWs?

I'll also be going to Japan next month and was wondering if there is anything worth getting from there. I see they have DIXCEL brake pads which may be a cool purchase since iSweeps seem to be so popular here. Everything else I can probably get outside of Japan.

the exchange rate is really good right now so i'm hoping to take advantage of that. historically its around 105-112Yen/dollar but now its like 145Yen/dollar!

I’ve been to a few in Osaka back in 2015/2017. In Tokyo there are some but most are done in secret and last min to avoid security.
Around gonna and shinjuku you’ll often spot modified jdm or exotica driving around

The best is Tokyo auto salon in January if you’re able to get a press pass or if you know a shop that have partners with jdm companies, they can get one.

Studie is the place you want to go, legendary Japanese BMW tuner.

The owner Bob has a 3.0 CSL, worth checking to see if it’s at one of the locations if that’s something you’re interested in seeing in person.

You're going to have an amazing time! I just went to Japan back in April and it was probably one of the best countries i've visited. The food, culture and people are amazing.

In Yokohama you'll find a decent amount of BMW automotive shops and accessories. 3Ddesigns is located in Yokohama and one of the owners is very friendly and will be glad to show you around. I actually got a chance to interview him in a video.

i saw your youtube video with 3Ddesigns last week. i've been to japan many times but never in search of car shops n things. with the exchange rate so good right now i'm thinking i might buy a bunch of accessories like petals, mirror covers, and maybe even order wheel/tire packages. i really like the bbs ri-d and wondering if they'd be up to 20% cheaper there even with shipping.

thnx for the post

Late but might be useful for some.

Daikoku carpark is a common meet spot on weekends for JDM stuff and modded cars, its car access only though...... If you have the time rent a car for a day and go for a cruise. Ive done a R35 for a few days and driven hakone skyline etc. Heaps of fun!

Otherwise ive come across random meets with Muira/F40's etc in a bookshop carpark in Daikan-yama and about 50 exotics cruising around My Haruna last year. Am heading back there next week but wont have tine to try and source G81 stuff.......

Osaka is the place for modded exotics too.

unfortunately not really. the accessories i wanted, such as pedals and blue mirror for side mirrors were all out of stock. rear view mirror weren't made for LHD cars. got some minor accessories like momo seat belt pads, LED lights from Autobacs but that's it. i am still working with the studie ag rep on some wheels hoping the costs is lower due to exchange rates even though i have to pay for shipping so i'm still crossing my fingers
