MyBMW phone app not updating and vehicle does not have internet connection.

I’m wondering if anyone has had similar issues.

My app is not refreshing to the current status of my vehicle. The last update was August 2nd. I still get tire pressure status but my mileage is not updating.

I’ve uninstalled the app, logged out, removed the vehicle, and tried to reset my vehicle with the volume button.

I do not receive any weather, news or traffic updates. When I goto the MyBMW app on the vehicle it says no internet connection.

Is something wrong with my internet antenna? It seems that the GPS still works.
Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum. They are having issues with the network in Canada for the last few days so you are probably caught up in that problem. Hopefully they get things for soon for you guys.

I am having issues also in Toronto..l am not able to lock/unlock see my cameras from the app..couldn't access the app at all earlier.

Has your issue been resolved? I’m still having issues. I called BMW and they said it’s a software update that is the issue and the BMW is working to fix it. No timeframe for when it will be back up and running.

Zero Issues here with my 2021 F96 X6M but my 2023 G01 X3 M40i has had No Internet access since August 8, 2023 at 01:08. All of the myBMW app access and Connected Drive access seem to be affected...

Have taken it in to my dealer, they weren't able to do anything but they told me they have access to ConnectedDrive so they think that it is something on the backend.

July 2021 and prior builds are unaffected. Post July 2021 with a certain SIM have had total data connectivity loss since early August. Other than the odd internal communication, zero contact from the mothership.
