When my car sits in the sun the whole day and i go for a drive, on most bumps from the road i can hear this creaking noise from the back seat area, kind of like a plastic on plastic creaking noise. Could this be coming from the carbon roof or some other parts of the car?
Anyone else getting these type of noises? Its not a rattle.

YES. More on this generation than any other too. I totally noticed this as well. I think its the carbon roof cooling as we drive that's causing the creaking. If its cool out, I dont hear it. But if mine sits in the sun for hours, I hear it every time.

Hmm interesting, had a feeling it was the roof, i guess going to the dealer and complaining wont do much.

I think its the roof. But it could be some plastic expanding too. Who knows. But I've heard creaking similar to this in my past cars with carbon roof. So Im guessing its that. But its the loudest creaker Ive had yet. lol.

Mine isn't that loud but i think a midpipe will fix the issue

The rear window shelf is known to creak too. Different materials expand and contract at different rates. Not much you can do about physics.

I have the same thing. After some time in the sun, when I drive the car it creaks like crazy. It goes away when it cools down. Nothing we can do about it I guess.
