High-gloss Black Interior Trim Pictures

If anyone got, can pls share pictures of High-gloss Black Interior Trim on the new x1? The test drive models all had this aluminium trim which I didn't like. Much appreciate if someone could share some pics.

this Youtube video will probably give you a reasonable idea of what it looks like. just make sure you always have a microfiber towel in the car to wipe all the dust off the glossy black trim bits.

Tons of YouTube video reviews with the piano black. Probably on the BMW website too.

I actually don't hate mine, it does require a bit of wiping though. I just wipe it down the same time I wipe the screen down. I am thinking of wrapping mine in a textured vinyl though, I've got some dry carbon look vinyl lying around that I never did anything with.

Thank you for sharing the video, looks like it's really good. Confused here whether I should go for Aluminium Hexacube Dark Interior Trim. Is high gloss plastic or some other material?

What do you feel on the quality of high gloss black. I felt the rest trim looks a bit cheaper than high gloss black.

We have gone for the black, her choice and she has it in her current X1 and it's been fine. The silvery one doesn't look different enough and the grey / hex one a bit bland to her eyes, plus the car we test drove had the high gloss black in it and it looked fine.

It’s much better than it was on the e90, Piano Black was an optional trim that was richer and had more depth than high gloss black that had a cheaper more plasticky look. The interior trim on the X1 doesn’t feel quite as substantial as the aluminum offerings, but it feels premium when looking at it. I’d say it’s of good quality but not the best I’ve seen. And glare off of it, though rare, is more distracting than the aluminum trims in my opinion. I honestly only got it because I had never seen the Hexacube option in person, and the other aluminum was too bright and attention grabbing to me. Had I been doing my order now after seeing the different trims in person I might’ve gone with the Hexacube.
