Hi all,

I got my new 2023 45e on January 28th. A couple of days later, I started noticing a plastic burning smell inside the cabin. The smell ebbs and flows and seems to occur after driving for a while and then coming to a stop.

Anyone else notice this on their 2023 models?

I had this for the first month or so of ownership. It seems to have gone away.

Took delivery January 20, noticed it really bad the first 400 miles or so -- almost like a body odor smell. I'm about to hit five weeks and 1000 miles and it's basically gone.

Ditto for me. Picked up a new M50 yesterday, noticed a faint odor on the drive home. Same thing this morning. Not terribly strong, but it definitely isn't the "new car smell" I expect...

Had the same on my 2022 think it’s the heat system with all the plastic

I think it's the undercoating.
