WHAT is the spec in the forum banner!?

Hi all, want to introduce myself first, I'm a BMW CCA member (NY /NJ chapters) own a 2002 M3 Convertible. My wife and I are considering ordering a new X1 in the coming months. I've been playing around with the configurator, and have some ideas in mind, but when I came here and saw the car in the banner picture at the top, I was stunned! However, it doesn't appear to be the production X1...is that a hybrid model? The body lines also appear slightly different, and the door crease is bolder. Also I don't see that color on the builder. Also, what wheels are those?

Where is that picture from? Does anybody know?

dont' know where that picture is from...

but this is still the only X1 video that takes my breath away...

Thanks guys, I think it's the frozen pure grey metallic color; the body creases might look more pronounced due to lighting, I guess. Either way beautiful spec!

Looking forward to getting into an X1!
