iDrive crashing in the same location

My iDrive consistently crashes when I’m driving through a certain area on my way to work.

Has anyone ran into this? It happens near a light-rail public transit train line. I’m wondering if it’s from electrical interference (?)

Either way it’s getting annoying. Has anyone experienced this?

This is in a 2022 230i

Yes. Known issue. There’s a major intersection in Austin where this happens as well (360/183)

It's not just a BMW issue btw. You can find people complaining on reddit in various car brand subs about this, and it's the same intersections

I haven't experienced iDrive completely crashing (I have ID8) - but I have experienced Apple CarPlay as well as bluetooth connection crashing in the same place on my way to work. There are 3 cellular towers grouped together near the intersection, and my guess is the power of all 3 is disrupting the signals.

Yeah, that’s what happens here too. It’s the Apple CarPlay that crashes, not ID8. I believe that’s what OP meant too
