Refinished 788m wheels

2021 BMW M2 Competition - Hockenheim Silver - Special Content Package - DCT

So my car is one of the "special content package" cars that came with the 763m wheels (not pictured), alcantara steering wheel, and two-tone seats. The 763m wheels serve me well at the track. I've always like the 788m, but disliked the color and the fact that they're EVERYWHERE. There was an old thread around here about painted wheels that inspired me, so I pulled the trigger on a refinish via powder coat on a set of 788m's I bought for the road.

I'm happy with how they came out. I love that I get a bit of a "retro" vibe from the silver finish. Next up is likely lowering springs to eliminate the wheel gap, will probably need spacers at that point as well.

fantastic.

Although I actually also like these wheels stock, they look really good as 1 color only. I about did mine silver too but went bronze since my other 2 sets of wheels silver already but man do they look ace.

Shouldn't need spacers from a clearance point of view?

If you're enjoying the odd track day, maybe look at coilovers to sort the stance while improving the high speed ride and handling.
