Visor Decal: Quick Size Question

So I am purchasing this item which is a matte black decal to cover the ugly airbag warning decals on the visors.

Apparently there are two sizes to choose from:
7 5/8" x 2 1/2"
or
8 1/4" x 2 3/8"

Can someone let me know what size I would need to cover the airbag decal on an M3? I don't have my car yet. Thanks.

I ordered mine from that same place, and I didn't even pick one. I didn't realize they had different sizes.

It arrived, and fit perfectly on my G82.

Then I ordered another one (again, didn't pick the size), and it fit perfectly on my E93.

So don't sweat it.

When I purchased I just told the guy that it was for a G80 M3, thinking he had an idea about the size needed. But then he said he needed the size choice before shipping.

That size will be just enough to cover the label btw. If you want to be safe and leave room for a slight misalignment when putting the sticker down, you should get the bigger one.

Or worse, you could spend $400 on the complete replacement euro visors, without the labels. Not that anyone I know, has done that.

Ditto (just measured mine, installed on both the M4 and X3). That government-mandated decal has been a pet peeve of mine for years. Maybe it's because, being as tall as I am, the sun visor is more prominently in my peripheral vision. Or maybe because the garish yellow-and-black graphics clash horribly with the rest of the classy interior.

It wasn't until I started reading about people disliking the stickers that it got in my head.

Now every time I have a visor down and in use, I'm like "OMG that car in front of me is going to see this stupid sticker, it clashes with the rest of the car"… WTF is wrong with me?
