Ebrake Handle Loose

Wondering if anyone's CS has developed a bit of a play in the ebrake handle. This would be the leather part that you grab to pull the handle up and down, and not the lever itself. Mine moves side to side and forward and backwards a little bit and it's triggering my OCD. I have less than 3000KMs on the car and wondering if I should remove the entire handle and put it back together. Open to any suggestions!

Yes. Was replaced under warranty. The replacement piece was worse and was also replaced.

SMH, I pulled it off and the design is so shit... not surprised its giving issues already. Will contact the dealer to get a new piece.

I put the CF/alcantara handle on my ebrake. No issues at all, but then again I've probably only used the ebrake about 5 times. There are very few hills where I live, so I just leave it in gear when parked.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's the BMW product in the link below. It came off my F80, which the original owner had installed. It had the alcantara boot with tri-stitch, so I'm pretty sure this is it. I only swapped the handles (not the boot) when I got rid of the F80.
