BMW makes them. Get OEM, quality will be better.

Did you remove the badges yourself? I’ve toyed with this idea but afraid I’d eff it up.

This is the video that encouraged me that this badge mod was within my wheelhouse. Took about 10 minutes for both sides. The glue was so new it just peeled off with my finger nail. Easy!! No 3m or roto tool needed.

Yes, I did - dental floss is excellent for removing the badges, and the leftover adhesive can be cleaned up with alcohol or other mild solvent. Use blue painter's tape all around the edges of the badges to mark their position if you're removing them to either paint yourself or replace with purchased painted units. Far less expensive to paint yourself, but do use "automotive" grade spray paint (color and clear) from your local parts store. 3M double-sided tape works great to re-attach, and can be trimmed with an X-Acto knfe.

Unfortunately, they don't make the "script" style X3 badge in black, just the one for the M340i, which is done in a different font. At least, I've not been able to find one on getbmwparts.com. If and when I do find one, I'll replace the painted one.

Thanks. I recommend using a very fine grade of sandpaper (wet-sand type, maybe 1500 grit) to knock off the shine, then wipe it with alcohol before applying a light coat of gray primer. When that dries, apply the black lightly (2 coats), let that dry, and finish with the clear.

Before you paint, put double-sided tape on the back of the badge, and use an x-acto knife to trim it, leaving the backing on the tape until you're finished applying the paint.
