Seems most folks here are ordering i4 M50, anyone else ordering eD 40?

I just placed a deposit for a San Remo i4 eD 40. I'm being told October ish delivery, but subject to change to much later in the year.

I spoke to about 6-7 dealers, most orders are for the 40 not for the M50. If you are to place an order pretty much anywhere in Southern California today for the 40, dealers are quoting 2023 delivery.

Ive just ordered an eD40 M-Sport in Australia, being told delivery is October-Dec at this stage, eD40 orders half that of M50. M50's currently at April 2023. Part reason why I opted for the eD40. I think its a complete guessing game at the moment.

Well I guess someone at my dealer cancelled their order. My order went to status 112. The build was similar enough to mine that I decided to take it. New eta is May-June

I just put a deposit down on an i4 40 after researching the model. It's only about .5 sec slower than our current Tesla MY AWD and the Tesla is plenty quick enough for my need for speed.

I also like the longer range and that you can rotate the tires front to rear and 18" tires are less expensive to replace than larger wheel sizes, along w/more selection options.
