Discount Wouldn't Mount My Tires

A week ago I ordered contiental DWS06 to my local discount tire. I have an aftermarket set of 20 inch wheels for my winter setup. They are the same width as the 825M (My Stocks) except the front is now 20. Only thing different is that the offset. I ordered a 275/30/20 & 285/30/20. On their website I put my car as a 2019 M5 because I knew that it had a staggered tire setup similar to the G80. They came in roughly two days ago and I brought my buddy and my wheels that needed to be mounted with tires and to the car. They said we have a problem, we can't mount them. The load rating won't hold my car. Even though the load rating for those tires I ordered were for an F90 M5, implying that my car weighs more than an M5. I was frustrated because an M5 is an extra 300-500 pounds more than my M3CX. They said no we can't mount them incase of a blowout, and he said he didn't want to lose his job. I understand that so I asked if they could mount the tires to the wheels and I take them. His response, "No." Bare in mind I payed for these tires in full a week ago and waited for them to come in. I asked "Can i take my tires?" He said, "No, my manager said no." At that point i was about to lose my sh*t because I was their for an hour and a half. So I got a refund and left with my wheels not mounted. I need tires because I'm in the midwest and driving on some Pzero hockey pucks isn't it. What are you guys' thoughts on this?

Can you order a winter tire and wheel combination from Tire Rack?

I'm thinking of doing that, I'm pretty sure the package is out of stock because they have no wheels. Plus I have my own wheels

I would just order a set from like tire rack and call a local performance shop or local tire shop and see if they would just mount and balance them. They don't need to know what car they're going on. I worked for STS now Mavis for 6 years. If they were dropped off as just wheels and tires they were written up as just that. Mounted and balanced customer supplied wheels and tires. No warranty or guarantee applies. Customer responsible to ensure fitment.

The oem front load rating is 100 and those are 97. They likely have a policy to not mount anything with less than the oem rating for liability reasons, just find someone else who will do it.

Order tires from Costco and take wheels to them and get them installed. I just did that. No issues. They did ask about wheel spec/fitment etc. They have to do their due diligence to cover their liability if something goes wrong but once I explained everything they were cool.

I order my tires from TR and have them shipped to one of their installers - a performance shop, not a tire store. They'll mount whatever I ask them to, and actually take more care with my car than does the tire store. My tire store, which is above average, is pretty good at damaging or scratching something, somewhere, every time.
