Sun roof blind

Is it possible to get the sun blind to open /close when the car is unlocked / locked?

Yep, definitely possible: just hold the open/close key and all windows and the sun roof will open/close for as long as you hold the key.

You can get the car to open everything up with the key, but can't really do like the wing mirrors and get it to open like they do.

Haven't seen anything on the 225xe in either esys or bimmercode to do it, but happy to be proven wrong.

Ah, see I misread it: it's just the blind you want to open and close, not the roof itself. Don't think that's possible...

On some of the F Series cars, people have worked out how to code using the rain sensors to close the Sunroof itself, so it's possibly not beyond do-able, but until I get my car I can't dig into eSys/eSysX to have a look.

You need to hook the Comfort Access to detect the Wing Mirror open, and hook that to the Blind switch, problem is, that is not a momentary switch, so probably not codable. I'll look though.

If you pull the button past the point of resistance it fully opens/closes the cover so the car can full open or full close without having you hold the button.

Possible in theory.

Yeah but that's not momentary, needs to be pushed past a point to do it. I'll have a look on esys when mine comes.
