Harman Kardon - Harman Becker HS B225 audio amplifier.

Upgraded my audio system in my M2 to the Audiotec Fischer BMW amplifier. So I have an amplifier for sale. It's in great shape and works well. Even includes the BMW plastic splash guard. Fits a F87 M2 and I believe most 2 Series models too.

Just so you know, if you ever have a bmw update, you'll have to reinstall this amp. It's not the best idea to sell it.

This is a great point. It might be necessary for some warranty work (should it arise). Oddly enough, BMW updates check for the amp for some reason.

I was just going to mention this. If you ever have an istep update and you don't have the oem amp installed the update will fail and you will essentially brick your car.

So this is one of those parts you really shouldn't sell. If you do - never update your car, and if you code take extra caution not to mess anything up or else you will need to reflash the ISTEP and that won't work without the oem amp.

It technically checks for every ecu/module in the car, such as FEM, DSC, GHAS, EPS, and the amp is one of those modules it checks. Technically an update should fail if any of these main modules are pulled.
