First world problems ? Replacing 992 Turbo S or M2 CS with incoming GT3 ?
Have a 992 turbo s and m2cs I love them both very much the problem I have a gt3 coming in on oct 8, what car would you keep? Both are pretty rare and both are almost impossible to replace ….

Two 911s do seem somewhat redundant though. |

No experience with a turbo s, but I think they'd be a completely different experience. If I had a turbo s, I'd want a convertible because I'd consider it a GT car. GT3 for the race car feel. Engine noise, etc.
My CS gives me a similar experience to that of a GT3 I drove. I can't shake the desire to have a high revving GT3 to play with though. I'm sure this doesn't help. Maybe others with experience can chime in. I previously wanted a turbo s for the acceleration. I'm leaning more towards a a model S plaid for this. CS + GT3 + model S plaid could be a win for the experience they provide. |

I'd sell the TurboS for big $$$ if I had a GT3 coming. I think the CS will hold its value better than the TurboS (relatively), given that you can get well over MSRP for the TurboS right now.
Mainly because the next TurboS will be better, and it's questionable if the next M2 CS will be better. That said, having two 992s would be pretty cool looking in the garage. I assume you have a larger car as well? |

I think the M2 CS is a unique car, it brings me back to the days of old M3s or what the M3s should have been the last few years.
I have a 991.2 Targa GTS, love it. Have a 992 GT3 at port now, keeping all 3. If you have to get rid of one it would be the Turbo. The Turbo really isn't that unique of a car, its hard to find now but pre-covid it wasn't and every generation keeps getting better, its been something you can count on with porsche. Not sure BMW has gotten it right every time.but they did get it right with the CS That said if push ever came to shove I will keep the Targa GTS and M2CS... Sell the Turbo, you can always get another one.
I am also on the list for a GT3 but not as soon as you, congrats! I was going for the Touring but then saw this a couple of weeks while in Europe and it will have the Wing after all! |

As you know better than us those are totally different cars. I test drove few Porsche over the last two years (992 S, 992 Turbo S cabriolet, Taycan Turbo S, 718 GTS, 718 GT4,…). Had between 30 to 60 minutes behind their wheels which isn't enough too have a proper experience but the 992 Turbo S cabriolet was by far my favorite. This is unbelievably quick and it looks insane ! Plus it is a 2+2 which is necessary in my case since I have 2 small children. If you can keep them all, do it! In the end of the day those are 3 different type of cars which doesn't seem to be that redundant. There is no bad choice with your eligible lineup !

It just has soul. And class. And so much style. If my current good fortune continues I will buy one. The only caveat is that I don't notice the expense, (no finance, non impactful cash purchase). Once I do it will be a bucket list item checked. As is/was the M2CS. |

Just make sure to get it with the stickshift, one of the last cars up there in that price range with one, and I doubt they will offer it much longer into the future.
