Haha, I dropped $50 on this for fun; I was going to share as well. I wonder about that cash alt though… honestly can't decide which I'd rather have. Not sure how these things work, but winner could also sell the car for 9x,xxx instead of taking the cash alt. I would think there are terms preventing that though — thus the significantly lower cash alt.

Back in 2002 I won a Cadillac Escalade through a charity raffle (bought a $50 ticket). The value of the vehicle you win is definitely treated as taxable income in the same way as if you won from gambling.
