Rays G025 question

Found that on rays website the setup for g80/82 is 20x9.5 and 20x10.5.
Contacted a local rays dealer and he told me 19inch may not clear the brakes in the front.

Really want to stick with 19 front 20 rear setup. Wondering if anyone knows I may have some problems if I order 19 &20s? Cheers

You can option this car with 18s in front, so I wouldn't fully buy that 19s won't clear. Depending on the remaining dimensions, upsizing to 20s doesn't necessarily guarantee proper fitment.

I'd pull as many measurements as you can on the 19" GO25s, and compare against BMW's stock specs. Otherwise, it might come down to test fitting the wheels you want.

I don't see why they wouldn't fit as long as they're the right offset. The car comes on a 19/20 setup

The barrels can be different sizes which is why some wheels clear the brakes and other don't in the same sizes. No idea on the fitment of Ray's and if they will actually clear in a 19" setup.

Its all about the offset, as to whether or not the wheels are going to fit. I, myself, love the G025, and I wanted them on my Type R, but I decided to sell it when the used car market went haywire, and made $7,000 on it.

If Im not mistaken, though, Rays makes just about all of their wheels, for big brake kits, and this car definitely has what you would call a big brake kit. The CCBs are a little bigger than the M Compound, so what fits on the M Compound, may still not fit with the CCBs.

Best way to tell, is to get a wheel template to see if brakes will clear the wheels. Youd need to get something like this.
