In order to have both flaps open is it recommended to pull fuse 203 or just remove the actuator?

Drive in sport mode for ~10 minutes at a brisk pace, then pull the fuse without shutting off the car.

Are there any advantages to pulling the fuse instead of unplugging the actuator?

Does this apply to the x30i as well or just the M40i and X3M?
