Tire pressure M2CS vs M2C

Any idea why the tire pressure is different?

2.6 vs 2.4 (partial load)

2.8 & 2.8 vs 2.7 & 2.9 (full load )

Interesting… Maybe an attempt to reduce CO2 emission?
I will try 2.4 instead of 2.6. Maybe the car will be a bit more composed on bad roads.

Probably because the tires are different, cup 2 vs SS. And, I believe the CS has star spec cup 2's...

Interesting, my last car was the M2 C (23020), which also ran PSS, and the tire pressure listed on the label at the bottom of the door sill was 32 PSI which is exactly the same as my CS. It must have something to do with European requirements vs Canada... or as mentioned earlier, fuel economy ratings.

It's just a baseline anyway. I like 35f/32r.
Larger tires require less air and the rears don't work as hard laterally. Lower PSI also helps with launch.

In the CS manual there is a lot of detail about tire pressure with C and CS. Pressure is different depending on intended speed as well. I think under 100mph and over 100mph

You don't get the BMW sticker though right?
Then again it's 2.6 2.6 here for Cup2Cs.
Who knows?

My CS sticker.
2.6 bar = 37.71 PSI, assuming the 2.6 bar is cold temp
it seems a bit odd I'm at 32 PSI or 2.21 bar...
I wasn't provided with a CS manual....
just a M2 manual.

I set literally everything I own to 35psi cold in all 4 tires (except for HD trucks) and its always been just fine.

Unless you're on track (setting hot temps, btw) don't sweat the small stuff.
