YES!!!
I'd like to know what happened to the rest of the alleged 10-ish units built. I've read they built less than 10 actually or that they've not even sold one car. Or six prototypes and six production cars were built. Either way, no one outside of them two Germans from BMW Classic probably knows. If they've got only one example, the one in the video may be also the car that toured the US concours shows some years ago. Here it is running on its own https://www.bmwblog.com/2016/03/13/b...limited-model/ Picture from 2007 (?) from a Middle Eastern dealership, peep the "sold" tag I believe this is a corporate photo; notice the different hood from the car in the BMW video. I think the museum car has got the hood that was only on the 24h Nordschleife cars raced by Schnitzer in 2004 and 2005 after BMW had to leave ALMS due to regulations changes. Also, their car has got standard M3 seats unlike any other GTR I've seen pictures of. Mind you, 2000 E46 GTRs had an S54. For 2001, they decided to go with the V8 - hence the need to make 10 homologation vehicles.

Super cool! Definitely not the prettiest thing in the world but that wasn't its purpose.
