Very simple DIY, but HAD to happen: Changing the orange reflectors

Hey yall!

I wanted to share my latest DIY, though of course it is very very simple with the M2 which is rather nice. You dont even have to take off the wheel well liner for once, as the back of the reflector is immediately accessible!

It was really nice to get these changed out, and the quality of the paint job from IND Distribution is dead on.

Feel sorry for you in the US with these god awful ugly ass reflectors spoiling the looks of cars. Makes even the meanest sports car look fisher price in nature.

I know right? When I upgraded the front bumper cover on my F32, I went with the euro styled M sport design, so it didnt even HAVE the reflector cutouts whatsoever.

The heat from tracking the car is melting the glue, I think, causing my IND reflectors to come loose. About to have to order another set. These aren't nearly as bad as replacing the rear ones though!

Very nice DIY dude

He should either chill out (j/k) or use some hardcore 3M tape instead

I've never understood the hate over the orange reflectors, and I'm a virtual slave to aesthetics. But hey, to each their own.

Great video though, well done.

I don't like the orange either, never have on any of my cars, always lusted after the JDM cars that had clear in their headlights and such. But I feel like these little add-on's just cheapen the car, they *look* [to me] like they were bought at Autozone or JC Whitney. If they were a tool they would be Harbor Freight.

The first owner of my car only had it 9400 miles, but she didn't get PPF, so the bumper has lots of little issues. Once this COVID shit is over and I start making some real money again I'll buy a euro bumper and have it PPF'd before it goes on the car.

Absolutely

My car is grey so you can barely notice it

I'd buy the euro bumper in a snap but I have a hood to buy first 😜
