(F95/F96) 617 hp in US / 625 hp in Europe: why? + M Driver Package
I keep reading that there's no particle filter in the North America version of our F95 and F96 which makes the sound of the engine louder... I'm not sure this was actually verified / tested?
But does anyone know why is the amount of HP different between US and EU versions ? I also know that the cars that come with the M Driver package unlock the max speed to 290km/h. Anyone know how to unlock that for us that didn't go with that option ? |

US and EU measure horsepower differently. They are the same.
Torque is measured in foot pounds in the US, and it differs greatly from Neuton meters used in Europe... but again, they are the same. "Horsepower" is a term used in both locations, and they numbers are similar....but different parameters apply, hence the small difference. My M50i (stock) is 523 hp in the US.... but 530 in Europe. |

I think this needs to be unlocked in the first 10 hours of use. Could be wrong tho.
