Issue after replacing both vanos actuators
Hi all, hope someone can give me a hand. I recently replaced the vanos actuators (solenoids) as a preemptive measure, since my n55 f10 is over 100000 miles. Shortly after replacing them, I get drivetrain malfunction message on I drive, and car is on limp mode. Prior to this, under acceleration the car would hesitate a little. Like a hiccup. I ended up replacing both vanos solenoids again, since I was pretty sure that was the culprit, and worked for 2 weeks. Yesterday I get the drivetrain malfunction message again plus Check engine light on. Codes are p13c0 and p13c9, plus p052b, cold start A camshaft position timing over retarded bank 1. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

This might be a long shot, but I know with my first BMW, a 2006 325i, when I replaced my vanos sensors, I accidentally swapped the cables for them and it ran terrible until I realized my mistake. It could be something as simple as that.
