I've been calling dealerships around me for 2 months now waiting on the 808M winter tire set, and they're not in stock and no one has any further information regarding availability.

Is this normal and does anyone know anything else about these?

The dealer has told me they can't find them. I'm at about 11,000 miles on the Michelin's and they are still riding well. Does anyone know how long the Michelin's last (ballpark average mileage)? I think Tire Rack has some winter tires available.

Winter tires go fast. you really need to buy in the early Fall to ensure availability.

I would search for Pirelli Scorpion winters for the stock 21/22 setup. I have them on and bought from tirerack back in October. when I searched around, there were other stores online selling them.

you probably could also search for pirelli Sottozero in the 21/22 tires sizes

Not sure if this is an option for you. Canadian BMW warehouse in Quebec had 60 sets last week.

I wouldn't - that design tends to look really small and doesn't really suit an SUV imo.

Have you tried asking your dealer to ask or search other dealers? Not sure if you are in the NA since you show Earth LOL but my dealer had two sets a week ago. I know bc they tried to sell me one. hehe

Not at all. BBS is one of the top wheel companies out there. I had a set of 22" BBS SV's which i loved and held up to NY like a champ.

I've literally called at least 20 dealers before posting here and none suggested doing that - yet once I asked it was apparently a trivial thing for them to do, so I have the stock set coming to me next week. Thanks for the suggestion!

We had the same issue over here in the UK - I ordered them in August and were on back order till November where they moved heaven and earth to get a set from Germany to deliver them with the car at the same time. Feels like hens teeth at the moment hopefully that opens up supply wise soon!

I went through the same to get a call from tirerack week ago, they found the last pair in US, they located them in MN. Just installed them today, what a relief!
Your best bet now, to get them from Canada, otherwise wait till 1/23/2021

I have one of the first sets on order and I have my rears. Fronts are on a ship backordered and waiting. Got my rears about 4 weeks ago. Ordered it the day the system showed it.
