Anyone else done this?
I don't hate the auto rev match but it does annoy me that DSC needs to be off to deactivate it. I found the instructions on another thread here about how to code it out with Bimmercode. Have to go through expert mode to get there now but it's pretty straightforward. The only annoyance is that the ignition switch needs to be pressed twice with a long press for the second to start the car. The car feels different now, more analog, less digital. Even with 13k miles and 1+ years of ownership, I never felt like I had a good feel for the clutch and the 1-2 shift was hit-or-miss. Since turning off ARM, the shift feels much smoother and I can feel a little more vibration through the clutch at the engagement point that was missing before. It might be a placebo effect. I'm curious if anyone else has tried this? Loving it so far |

Ive thought about doing this, however one thing that really annoys me about the car is that your throttle blips have to be bigger in eco mode than in sport or sport plus. Which...yeah should be obvious in retrospect. But it makes “learning” the car a lot harder.

Man, I have to admit that when I first got the car I didn't like the auto rev-match at all, but now I absolutely adore it. No way I'd turn it off. But to each their own!

I thought even when you have rev matching turned on, you can still auto-blip. The system will detect you're doing it yourself and will disengage the system since you're already doing it. Maybe give that a try and see if it interferes?

I know I’m not great at heel-toe’ing, there’s no way I’d be better than the ECU matched rev. With the drive-by-wire and all the throttle tunes, it’s really difficult to blip the throttle perfectly anyway... |

BM3 has this option if you purchase their tune.
