Just placed an order for an M2 Comp👍
Hi guys
Just placed my order for what will be one of the last M2 Comp ever to be produced. It will be an September production. Its gonna be a long wait. I went for a pure enthusiast spec😜. Sunset Orange, Jet black rims, M Seats with Orange contrasts, Large M Brakes, Manual gearbox, no sunrof and with manual Seat adjustements. A perfect setup for my taste😎 I am considering a few M Performance parts for next summer, but will keep the car as is, without any mods. |

Congratulations!
Don't worry, I can sympathize with the agony of waiting, my car was ordered in May and it will be rolling off the production line next week. I should take delivery of my car when yours goes into production.

Congrats. The wait will make it all that sweeter when you get to finally drive it!

When you say jet black wheels, are you referring to the 763M or just the black 788Ms? Cause the 763Ms are just killer!
Fantastic build sir, man I would be aching with your wait time. I ordered mine mid-May and it's not scheduled to be delivered until September, so I feel your pain

My next car, regardless of the weight penalty, I'm checking that box, for sure.. I understand and respect the omission of a sunroof, on something like a CS, where they already invested a boatload to develop a bespoke, "sandwich" carbon fiber roof.. #CoolStuff However, on something like the Competition, where it's just a standard, 2 Series, steel top, you may as well get the sunroof, IMHO. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.. : |

Him and sister was born in my garage, in the house I built for his mom and so I was his de facto guardian, ever since he was a kitten. One late night, someone unfortunately stuck him and sped off. God - I would give anything to find that driver, I can't even convey it in words. People can be so shitty.. Anyways, thanx again for the compliment.. |

Usually a huge fan of sunroofs, but in this case I dont want it.
At app 6,4 and 250+ Punds I need some extra space/headroom. Thats why I wanted the lower sitting positioen the man seat given me, and the headrom I get from no sunroof. |

Congrats, I have a very similar spec but in HS. I much prefer the manual sears over the electric in my previous cars (F80, etc).
In hindsight I probably would have not gone for the 2NH brake option and just used the money toward a set of APs. But that is based on personal preferences of wanting to run 18 inch wheels, the cost of Pagid pads for the larger brakes and the need to take the front calipers off to change the front pads. With all that said the larger brakes perform extremely well, especially with the uprated pads and fluid. |

Excellent. I am also in the same position, waiting for my Sunset Orange M2 Competition to arrive, even though I was expecting a manual, no sun roof but for my country there a no manuals available. Will keep the feeling of driving a manual with my 2.012 1M.
