New 340i interior noise

This morning when I was driving to work i noticed a strange interior sound while in motion. It was all over the outer areas of the interior (doors/roof area) and basically sounded like "soft rain drops" scattered around the interior of the car. Very weird. My first thought was that it was the rubber seals squeaking that seal the car doors when vibration is felt but I just can't put my finger on it. Does anyone have any clue what this could be?

I think I may have figured this out. My mirrors open and close each time the car is locked and unlocked and I think the surface those mirrors glide along as they actuate was squeaking. After closing the mirrors and cleaning and applying a small amount of lubricant I haven't heard any more sound. We'll see what happens.

Hey Mikkel!

How did you setup your mirrors to open and close automatically? I always thought I had to press the button on the door. Idrive?
