2 Piece Rotor Painting

Has anyone painted the hat of their M Performance 2 piece rotors? All of my old cars I used to paint or buy rotors with pre-painted hats and wanted to know if anyone has tried on the factory 2 piece rotors. I would love to clean up the look inside of the wheel and the hats being painted would probably look good, but I've never had 2 piece rotors and haven't seen it done.

Any help out there? Any suggestions on paint or products to do it?

There are a bunch of threads on this already. If it's rusting near the hubs, just sand and paint.

The OE two piece rotor is Aluminium at the hub, and shouldn't rust, so no need to paint or coat. You just need a good cleaning.
