H&R sport springs WTF

I just installed H&R sport springs on my F30 335i

Everything else is good except read driver side is sitting about 1/2" higher than rear passenger side.

The fronts are perfect. It's been 2 days I have installed the springs. Seems like other people on different forum got the same concern but no solutions anywhere.

Thanks for your input fellas.

Rear wheel drive.

I'm gonna go home and re inspect them again and maybe reinstall if needs to be.

Mine sits a little higher in the rear also. It would look good with maybe another 1/4" of a drop.

My situation is a little different though.

Just the rear driver side is sitting high.

In love with the other side. It's sitting perfectly.

Oh snap yeah, I wonder if the springs were installed backwards? At least the rear is a easy fix.

I had this problem when I installed my KW coils - turns out the rubber spring perch on the bottom wasn't fully seated into the control arm/linkage/whatever that's called..

Because it goes in at a weird angle and aftermarket springs are shorter than stock, it's easy to lower the car back down with the spring not properly seated. I'd check that first

The drivers side is known to sit a bit higher... to compensate for the added load of the driver.

Sure its not this you are seeing?

I had a similar issue last summer after installing new springs and dampers. One rear wheel seemed to be sitting higher. Basically I learned three things from the experience.

1) The parts settle in a bit after a few weeks of driving
2) Initially, I wasn't using the best methods and tools to measure the drop. And I wasn't making sure to measure all four corners exactly the same way. I figured out the best way to go about it. I also found that measuring in millimeters was much easier with the help of cheap plastic ruler from Walmart. I just did a conversion to inches at the end.
3) The biggest thing that I discovered was that asphalt is wavy no matter how flat it looks.

Once I drove my car for a couple of weeks on the new suspension, and measured it accurately on a flat concrete pad, it turned out that any difference on that rear wheel height was negligible. I hope you have a similar positive outcome.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for your input. I reinstalled the spring and the difference is not 1/8 of an inch. Not so worried about that anymore.

Thank you everyone for your valuable input. You guys helped a lot in my journey of installing sport springs.

Next is wheel alignment and probably -1 camber at the back so that those wheels doesn't rub on heavy bumps.

Here are some pictures of final result. Enjoy😊

My car with ACS springs is perfectly level rears, matching, fronts matching, but as soon as I fill up my fuel tank entirely it drops 1/4" in the rear, that could be what you're experiencing.

That's what I thought as well.
I guess we will find out once the tank is close to empty.
