Recommend me non RFTs!

8 months in ownership and my f30s run flats are pretty much all ready to be replaced, my 530i had regular tires and the ride quality was spectacular. RFTs suck, harsh ride quality, expensive. And they don't last as long! Never had a flat with my 530i and don't mind calling a tow if I had to.

And you need to be more specific. Looking for all-seasons only or winter/summer setup?

Michelin AS3+ the gold standard

Just put them on my 335Xi 18 inch square setup (225/45/18) and the change was awesome.

I kept one RF Pirelli to give to a deserving home if anyone wants the damn thing (10k miles---8/32. Excellent shape). Pay me 25$...and pick up in Arlington VA. Then you have a spare when one of your Pirellis is destroyed...

Just installed Michelin Pilot sport A/S3+ on my F30 Xdrive. There were subtle differences to me. The ride is a bit smoother and so are the bumps. There have been complaints of a "light steering wheel", bouncy ride, and "floaty" feel. I feel none of this. The steering feels the same to me. I can somewhat understand the "bouncy" claims but I have the soft Xdrive suspension so it was kinda bouncy to begin with. The grip in the corners is absolutely brilliant, and the car from a launch grabs so much harder (could be a bad thing for reliability). The wet traction is immensely improved as well. Overall I'm impressed with the tire and would recommend them, but I know this specific tire is said to be harder than other non rft . If you are looking for that smooth as glass ride, these may not be it.
