Any way to make the seatbelt easier to grab?
Drives me nuts having to turn around to grab it. Any solutions to make it easier? Carl

The seatbelt valet would actually be really great on this car. I believe the 430/440s actually get them. |

I had a shoulder injury and when I got my M2 I found it dearly impossible to grab the seat belt. I ended up buying a seatbelt holder from a Chrysler 300, then I redrilled the holes to fit my head rest stays. Works like a charm. See if I have a picture of it somewhere.

I see bmw has one now, that would have been easier to buy the one that fits.

What about grabbing it before you get into the car? And just hanging on with your left hand as you slide into the seat?
Then you could just pull it across your lap with your right hand and buckle it in.

Is this really a problem for people? I have never experienced this issue. I grab from the top where the belt starts to come out of the B pillar...my seat is set as far back as the cage will allow...but not as far back as I had it pre-cage install...still no issues with belt.

Replace the seat and install a 5 point harness. Kill two birds with one stone. Easier to put the belt on and have a better seat.

This annoyed me so much in my M4 along with not being able to get in and out of the car in tight spaces due to its big doors. I (kinda) fixed it by coding the "Comfort Entry", which can be enabled in iDrive already in EU spec cars I believe. The point is when you open your door the seat moves back automatically providing you more room to get in and out easily. Another benefit of this is the seatbelt access. When you get in your car before closing the door you can grab your seatbelt much easier and then close your door (once the door is closed, the seat will move back to driver's set position). Not a perfect solution but it works. You can also change how far you want the seat go back via coding but making it move too much might give your rear passengers a hard time
