M2C LBB Taking Delivery

Long story short, had 1 on order, got pushed back due to brakes shortage or whatever, got fed up and cancelled it, checked out autotrader, found a bunch of dealers advertising on there, found 1 (actually 3) available in Chicago (I live in Philly), flew out and got the beast.
Drive back was awesome. Wanted a HS but very happy with LBB. Still getting used to the manual, weak left leg

. Muffler is ugly as f*** yes... Car sounds awesome, especially in Sport+ of course.
Executive package is nothing to worry about, save the money, the automated high beams are buggy and wireless charging is slow. Ok i'm sure I'll be more appreciative of the heated steering wheel in winter.

BMW Elmhurst (Outside of Chicago) has 2 on their lot, with 1 more arriving this week. Ask for Mike Banach. MSRP.

edit: Forgot to mention - the seats are AMAZING. 13h in the car and no back issues. In my 328 I get plenty of comfort issues.

Congrats!

1.) I think you can code the headlights to where the auto-headlights work as they do in Europe. Other members might want to chime in here, I'm a noob at coding info, but just passing that info along.

2.) Check out that muffler paint thread........I think it's a great temp solution until nicer exhaust options come out.

Enjoy the LBB! I'm leaning towards HS at the moment but still also like LBB.

Not sure which to order!

Most want the exec pack for the updated looking headlights. Their function is a bonus.

Have zero interest in the functionality that Executive Package offers. Ordered it just for the looks (of the headlights).

i thought the same but i drove 800 miles from Chicago to Philly and did NOT get pulled over once. (needless to say that i went above 70)
thats part of the reason i wanted HS but let's see how it is over time...

I actually ordered an LBB and ended up with an HS. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with either color. M2C is a great car regardless and the manual is very forgiving! You will get used to it!

You would possibly be thrown in prison in Australia for this with the current legislation. I have to say it’s the only road laws I totally agree with though.
