Mine has three pedals, so I can’t be absolutely positive, but when I open the “Demo” mode ECU, it just shows Sport Transmission On/Off option...

Me too. But what does this mean? What is sport transmission and why does it appear to only be for DCT?

Pretty sure it’s for the 8AT based on the screenshot. Some f30 cars come with different transmission software, commonly referred to as 2TB. For those that didn’t go with that option, you can code the faster shift speeds, sans paddle shifter. Had to pay $500 for the option on my f30.

That update caught my eye as well. I’m not sure that does anything for our cars.

I just hooked up to my car and nothing about a transmission module. I do have DCT.
