Highly recommend you file a dispute. He uses the paypal dori vanderslice. If you dispute it should allow PayPal to refund the money as we have pretty solid evidence of his scam.

Funny how he upgraded his turbo during March and that's why he was selling his BMS tune, yet when April started and he was selling his wheels he said he wanted to upgrade it

Yes he sold me the AWE axle back exhaust. He was responding through email up until after I sent him the money. Then it took 24 hours before he said he was at the gym and that his wife sent it that night and that he would give me the tracking number tomorrow morning. He didn't of course. Around noon the next day he said it slipped his mind, and he'd give me one by 5. Nothing of course.

I just filed the PayPal dispute too. Originally he was going to sell me the FMIC too the last time he posted and he wanted PayPal Friends and Family. He ultimately didn't sell to me because he thought I was being difficult in wanting this. Good thing I didn't send through Friends and Family. Lesson learned for everyone folks!

Oh and I know he's since deleted the photo he posted here, but that photo was from another forum, as well as the picture of two of the black tips he sent me from the exhaust.

My sympathies to those who’ve been scammed. I hope you are able to get your money back through PayPal.

This is an intriguing situation. The OP appears to be, or at least have been as recently as just yesterday, a legitimate member of the community. Looking briefly through his post history, although it is possible everything he said was fabricated, it would be an elaborate way to run a game. In fact, on more than one occasion, he claims to have spoken with specific people employed at specific places. If you are going to make up fake scenarios to try to appear as though you are trustworthy, why open yourself to such clear vulnerabilities by giving details that could get you caught in a lie? If on the other hand, the events in those posts are real, why share so much detail that would allow people to easily learn your real identity and perhaps be able to point law enforcement your way? These facts would also appear to preclude any reasonable possibility of the account being hacked and used nefariously by someone other than the account owner.

I’ve banned the OP so he cannot change any more of his post history. Its a long shot, but I wonder if maybe someone who happens to have a personal relationship with folks employed by the tuners he claims to have done business with could help facilitate identity verification and perhaps law enforcement intervention?

What was his paypal email? If he used the same one, paypal is gonna find it suspicious that 5 people are requesting to dispute lol

I'm glad that he got banned and I'll be filing a paypal dispute right now as well. Hopefully we will all get our money back.. I confronted him over texts and he's completely ignoring me now. Moral of the story, always pay as a goods transaction and not through friends and family.

Always pay through normal paypal transaction. I'll gladly pay extra and cover the fees to protect myself, it's only 2.9%! Off the $500 transaction I had with him this equated to $14.50...

If you have his name and address, ideally, I’d say file police report. I’m not sure how exactly that would work given you reside outside the country. It should still be possible, I’d think. Or, if you are willing to share the info with others who might be interested in contacting you via PM so they might file their own complaint with his local authorities, that would be gracious of you. I guess if nothing else, PayPal might be interested since they will be eating the costs of refunding you.

I don't have any of that. I was the buyer, not the seller. All I have is his name and email.

Usually you file through your local police and they would contact his local police about the incident, seeing how most departments won't take reports over the phone. You could always try his local one over the phone if you do find out his information
