Introduction
Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Tom and I live in Central NJ. (I'm 47) I recently decided to sell my 2010 E63 AMG sedan with about 65k miles. A great car, but I was looking for something a bit more engaging for my 60 mile rural county-road commute. Previous fun cars were a '96 SVT Mustang, '00 Audi S4, '01 M3 Convertible, 00 M5, and 09 335d. I also have a 66 Mustang Convertible, but that car is more of labor of love at this point than anything else. About a month a go I picked up a CPO 2016 LBB MT M2 with about 9k miles at Paul Miller BMW in Wayne. Yes, it was a press car. Car is nice and tight and in great shape and is supported by CPO warranty and the 2016 maintenance plan so I think I'm good to go. Car has new tires and 2 of the wheels were refinished. Looks great but had a number of touched up rock-chips. I clayed and treated it with Opti-Seal in anticipation of the coming winter. I installed an ProClip cell phone mount for my iPhone and ran the USB cable through the dash and into the console. I also wired my V1 with Savvy and mounted the concealed display in front of the Cluster clock. Most interesting so far has been using BimmerCode to code a bunch of stuff. I set the mirrors to fold, windows to roll up and down with the remote and turned off the ASD (which has made the car much nicer to drive, at least for me). Really the only issue of any consequence is that I'm not all that comfortable in the seat. I think my left thigh is basically on top of the left bolster. It's probably getting a bit sore using the clutch. It gets a bit better if I twist my body to the right but I suppose that will be problematic for longer drives. Advice to lose some weight will be entertained. Anyway, I read through a lot of the threads and really appreciate all of the mods, feedback etc.. Thx, Tom |

Nice to have you! Always good to see another M2 owner on the road, I've only seen three out in the wild here in San Francisco
