Tips on disconnecting the HK amp?

I slide the slider to the right and it clicks. I pull outward and the thing refuses to pull away.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick to it?

Thanks

If you released the lever locking the connector it is only a matter of applying the adiquate amount of pressure.

I seem to be finding videos of the F30 with Hi Fi or E46 with HK...

I thought the Bav Sound one would shed some light but they skip the amp part.

Have had no choice but to book it in with an audio shop but the good thing is only for that! The rest of the install I can take on.

Yes it is a slider but is supposed to pull outward at the same time as sliding left to right. The darn thing won't give way.

There are pictures of it on the web if you do a general search.

Yes found lots of images. It is the actual physical aspect of removing. I e-mail Technic and he suggested removing the entire amp to improve my chances of disconnecting the harness. Unfortunately, I injured my thumb quite bad in the battle so I couldn't carry on with it.
