Xtrons Install
I have bought the Xtrons Headunit for my E91
Reading up about installing seems straight forward enough, but i cant see an answer to a couple questions. Live Feed: Those who have installed it - Where have you connected the permanent live feed to? I have seen some people say to the fuse board but doesnt specify which fuse or how. Subwoofer Controller: I have noticed the "sub controller" is just 1 green RCA pre out - how do i connect that to a amp for the subs then? I used to play around with car audio a lot years ago and i am used to running a pair of RCAs Red/White from Headunit to amp. Is this not the case with a single pre out connector? Or do i plug a RCA pair into rear/ front out for the sub amp. Also remote on for the Amp - anyone know which one this connects to? |

Today's standards are to use a monoblock amp for sub, many of which can accept a single rca.
Try using just one rca in whatever amp you use. If that doesn't work, you can get a splitter to get stereo rca inputs to your amp.
